Οι SHOTGUNZ είναι ένα heavy rock συγκρότημα από τη Θεσσαλονίκη. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 2009 και από τότε έχουν μοιραστεί τη σκηνή με πολλούς Έλληνες, αλλά και διεθνείς καλλιτέχνες, σε όλη την Ελλάδα, με μεγαλύτερη στιγμή να αποτελεί η support εμφάνισή τους για τον GUS G, στο λιμάνι της Θεσσαλονίκης. Το όνομά τους συμβολίζει τον εκρηκτικό ήχο της μουσικής τους, ενώ οι στίχοι των τραγουδιών τους είναι εμπνευσμένοι από κοινωνικά θέματα και «αληθινές ιστορίες». Το 2013 κυκλοφορούν το πρώτο τους demo, του οποίου την παραγωγή αναλαμβάνουν οι ίδιοι. Το ντεμπούτο album τους, «BASED ON A TRUE STORY», του οποίου τη μίξη και την παραγωγή ανέλαβε ο Τάσος Οικονομίδης, κυκλοφόρησε στις 12/11/2015 από την ROAR records.
